GeCkO
PAGE BIRTHDATE : January 1, 1999
This page is mainly about GECKO'S. I am a Leopard(Eublepharis macularius) and Pictus(Paroedura pictus) Gecko breeder(11 total Gex), and I find Geckos to be the most fascinating group of herps. They have unbelieveable eyes and skin color/texture. I am working towards a goal of a Gecko page that is very interesting, updated a lot, and that covers certain issues and topics that is found in no other page...like personal topics for the Gecko keeper to use as an individual...as I get ideas , you could send me your ideas and send me info of you for the "herpetoculturists" page...click here now to see what I'm talking about. Also, please scroll to "ThE GeX PaGeS" to sign or view my guestbook, named "GeXXBooK"...if you haven't yet. Anyways, I just started this page on "New Years Day", Janurary 1st, 1999. This site will be unique, because it is about YOU and YOUR Gecko's and HERPS...the Gecko's who belong to the people on the internet! I think this will make it more interesting. If you want pictures, got to the PICTURES GALLERY(scroll down). The only pictures, etc... will be someones on the net, or ones that I have scanned, so you can easily give your pets recognition by sending in pics & info of them. ALWAYS updated, and always expanding, so YOU MIGHT WANT TO BOOK MARK THIS NOW, AND CHECK BACK NOW AND THEN FOR CHANGES...

I currently have 8 Leopard Geckos :
  • juvenile "pastel" female
  • sub-adult normal male(?)
  • sub-adult normal male(?)
  • sub-adult "hi-yellow" female
  • sub-adult "hi-yellow" male
  • sub-adult "hi-yellow" male with "tangerine" spots on the tail
  • adult "hi-yellow" female
  • adult "hi-yellow" male

I currently have 3 Pictus Geckos :
  • 2.5 month old "Red/banded", or "Light-colored/banded" phase
  • adult "normal" male
  • adult "red/banded/striped" female

I am currently looking for 5-6 sub-adult female Leos, and 1 adult "red" male Pictus to complete my sub-adult breeding trio's. I am also looking for ANY other terrestrial Geckos. I love these more than anything, and my concentration is mainly on future breeding and hatching, so I am carefully raising these to beautiful, fat, healthy Leo's/robust Pictus, and I know both adult breeding pair has mated for sure, my Pictus is gravid & about to lay, but my Leo is not gravid yet. I will get pics of all of them up as soon as I get a new camera, so please send as much pics of your Gecko(s), along with the name(s), and your name(I'll tell who's Gecko it is on every pic, and tell its name). It will be very cool, and every pic that gets sent to me is gaurunteed to be on this page! ...so send em in...
*IF A PICTURE HAS NO OWNER NAME UNDER IT, IT WAS SCANNED BE ME*

I just more than doubled my picture gallery(!), so make sure you don't miss out on that. Most of my new pics are of terrestrial Geckos, and a lot of them are of Flying Geckos!

We have March's GECKOS OF THE MONTH! CLICK HERE NOW to see them...it's Thomas Krueger's beautiful Tokay Geckos. I've been doing a lot with the page lately, and have added really cool stuff. A good example is the brand new, just created, "TeRReStrIaL GeX" section on terrestrial Geckos, which I talked about yesterday(below). CLICK HERE NOW for "TeRReStrIaL GeX"! I am also working on a page for sort of a bibliography, for my resources with my scanned pics, info, etc... For example, Reptiles Magazine, Reptile Hobbyist Magazine, Encyclopedia of Reptiles and Amphibians, etc...

I am experimenting with my picture gallery, so if you see a picture that looks "stretched" or anything, it's because I'm experimenting with it. I'm fixing it so that you dont have to side-scroll to see some of the full pics. I'm in the process of making a section dedicated to terrestrial species. CLICK HERE NOW TO REQUEST A SECTION! Literally ALL sections requested will be created. I am also about to add another ton of pics to the gallery!

Today I did a little editing on text, and created the "Personal Progress" page. It will be about a number of things, such as my progress with my geckos, it will talk about things such as herp rooms, genetics, record keeping, etc...stuff like that. This may end up being my #1 section! You wanna check it out now? CLICK HERE NOW FOR PERSONAL PROGRESS. Also, please check out GeCkO of ThE MoNtH, and tell me how you like my new page design by posting in the message board.
